Eligibility

To be admitted to the 5-year B.A.LL.B (Hons) program at MABIJS, candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination with at least 45% (General Category) or 42% (OBC Category) or 40% (SC/ST Category) aggregate marks.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 20 years as of July 1st, with a relaxation of two years for SC/ST candidates.

Reservation: Seats are reserved for SC, OBC, and ST categories as per Government of West Bengal norms, according to University of Kalyani.

N.B:  Candidates must be appearing / passed out in the current year or in the last preceding two years.

(only for the students passing out in 2023, 2024, 2025).

(Candidates who appeared in the 2025 H.S Examination need to secure the minimum percentage of marks indicated under the Eligibility criteria for the confirmation of admission.)
